Join Us to Learn “How to Develop an Innovative Idea”
During this event, we plan to cover basic principles on ideation using a Coursera-derived material as a guide. This interactive workshop will be led by some of JHU’s own experts in entrepreneurship and ideation. We will have Assistant Professor & JHU Entrepreneurship Bootcamp organizer Nayoung Louie share her views on how to come up with an innovative idea. Also joining us is David West, founder of Proscia and current BME undergraduate, to share his personal experiences with his start-up venture. The goal of this workshop is to lay down the guiding principles of idea generation, and also to frame questions which address social and medical problems. This workshop is the first in a series of topic-based ideation and inter-disciplinary team building sessions to help teach JHU trainees about entrepreneurship and potentially facilitate formation of start-up teams. Mark your calendars and stay tuned for details of upcoming events!
