Kudos to Johns Hopkins Alumnus John Sorial, A&S ’98 on his appearance on season 11 ABC “Shark Tank” airdate September 29, 2019, and securing funding of $500,000 investment and 25 percent by KIND Founder and Executive Chairman Daniel Lubetzky. Although John’s major was chemical engineering, he is using his natural entrepreneurial talents for his passion. John was born in New York and came from family restaurant entrepreneurs. His food product, TaDah!, is fashioned as a traditional eastern Mediterranean falafel street wraps plus dip-stuffed falafel poppers. Founder John Sorial provides donations through his company “to nonprofits like Meant2Live, which creates education, mentorship, food, and musical opportunities for disadvantaged youth, which currently focuses on the Washington, DC-Virginia area and Zambia.
