My name is Ankita Das, and I am a postdoctoral fellow at the Carnegie Institute for Science pursuing my interest in understanding epigenetic mechanisms regulating stem cell differentiation. I obtained my Ph.D. in Developmental biology and Genetics from the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California. I am interested in taking an interdisciplinary approach to developing novel tools to study stem cell lineage decisions. My enthusiasm about bio-entrepreneurship has led me to propose and design a mentoring program serving Hopkins fellows considering careers in entrepreunership / start-ups and venture capital strategists. By creating partnerships among HBN, local incubators, and other non-profit organizations within Hopkins and other universities, I envision bringing forth a mentoring program offering training courses and services facilitating entrepreneurship. For questions about HBN's Entrepreneurship Mentoring Program, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
