Last year, Springboard Enterprises (represented by President Amy Millman), The Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, Hopkins Biotech Network (represented by Co-Presidents Leire Abalde-Aristain and Katharina Schmidt), and Medical and Educational Perspectives hosted a fantastic day May 5th, 2018. Teams such as CordeRx, Real-Time Diagnostics, Active Bed Sore Prevention System, IIAM, Yos Technology, LLC and ClearMask presented and pitched great technologies. Valuable experts such as Amy Millman, Founder and President, Springboard Enterprises, Kristen Valdez, CEO b-well, Rosemarie Truman, Founder and CEO, Center for Advancing Innovation, and Darius Graham, Director of Student Ventures, JHTV. The audience was comprised of Ph.D./MD, Masters/MBA, undergraduate, and postdoctoral fellows currently enrolled or alumni from all Johns Hopkins affiliated schools.
The impact and inspiration of the Dolphin Tank continue to inspire innovation in the Baltimore-D.C. landscape, nationally and internationally. Dolphin Tank 2019 will occur March 8, 2019. Teams of up to three members with at least one female team member pitched their idea-stage healthcare and biotech companies to a panel of experts from the areas of investment, innovation and entrepreneurship. “Springboard is a highly-vetted expert network of innovators, investors, and influencers who dedicate to building high-growth technology-oriented companies led by women.
