Post-Doctoral Position with the FDA -Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH)
CDRH is looking for a post-doctoral candidate with experience working with microfluidic systems and mammalian cells. Our team is developing in vitro models to test mammalian immune cell responses to metal particles and ions, released by metal implanted devices. Our objective is to examine changes in cell signaling, morphological changes and genomic modifications resulting from metal exposure. Experience with fluorescent staining, tissue culture, flow-cytometry, and some molecular biology methods (PCR, DNA/RNA extractions, and Western-Blot) in addition to experience with microfluidic models are a welcome. This position is readily available for a candidate as an ORISE fellowship, who is completing their degree or has received it ≤ 5 years ago.
